Block Puzzle: Diamond Star is a fun 2D puzzle with a premise taken from classic Tetris and transformed into a new concept that's just as dynamic and addictive as the original, all displayed with a colorful and fun bejeweled aesthetic.

Block Puzzle: Diamond Star's gameplay is simple: the classic Tetris pieces (L, T, I, and so on) appear at the bottom of the screen in groups of three. Your objective is to place these shapes on the screen with the intention of completing a row or column (or, better yet, more than one) in order to eliminate them. The more rows and columns you can eliminate in one move, the more points you'll get toward your final score. As soon as you run out of room and can no longer place new pieces, you'll lose the game.

A central difference with respect to the classic version is that, in Block Puzzle: Diamond Star, you can take pieces directly from the bottom of the screen and place them wherever you want on the board, instead of having to drop the piece from above. The idea is to optimize the placement of the pieces to eliminate rows as you advance, always trying to leave space for the pieces to come.
